fine, fine, fine
I was blown away by the amazing view from my room overlooking the Mekong River. Waking up to see elephants on the opposite shore was a amazing experience I won't forget. beautiful balcony, stunning river view, spacious room
Needs better bathroom cleaning standards!!! The lack of AC made for an uncomfortable night. Dim lighting in the rooms could really use an upgrade!!! Also, more varied options for takeaway sandwiches would be appreciated!!!

I struggled with the lack of AC, which made the room uncomfortably warm, especially at night. The bathroom cleanliness was below expectations, with tiles that felt gritty and unpolished. Additionally, the breakfast options were far too limited with only basic items offered, which left me wanting more variety to kickstart my day.

Mekong Riverside Lodge is a remarkable stopover for travelers arriving via the slow boat. The proximity to the pier ensures minimal walking, and the comfortable wooden rooms provide a relaxing atmosphere with stunning river views. The sunset from the balcony was particularly breathtaking. Breakfast options include tasty eggs and fresh fruits, while the restaurant across the street offers outstanding dinner choices. The overall ambiance exudes tranquility, perfect for a restful night before continuing the journey.
Shower water pressure was low.

The view from my room was breathtaking, especially overlooking the Mekong River. Watching elephants wandering by in the early morning added a special touch. The wooden room felt cozy, fitting well with the serene atmosphere. However, the bathroom could use a thorough cleaning, the tiles were not as fresh as I'd hoped. The staff greeted me with a refreshing drink, which was a nice gesture after a long journey. Breakfast options were minimal but tasted good, enough to get my day started. A noisy neighbor at night did disrupt my sleep somewhat. Great location next to the slow boat drop-off made it easy to access. I would consider returning if the cleanliness improved.

Memorable Views and Cozy Atmosphere

Honestly, I had a really nice stay here! The view from my room window overlooking the river was breathtaking, especially watching elephants down by the water in the morning. The mosquito net was a lifesaver because there were a lot of bugs around. On the downside, the bathroom tiles could use a deeper clean, but overall, I would gladly stay here again!

Mekong Riverside Lodge offered stunning river views from our room, and waking up to see elephants on the opposite shore was simply unforgettable. The spacious wooden room added a cozy rustic charm, and the private bathroom had a hot shower that was much appreciated after a long day. Plus, it was conveniently located just a five-minute walk from the pier, making our arrival smooth and stress-free.
The bathroom could use some cleaning.
